Ingredients
Ingredients:
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup barley flour
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 1 tsp salt
- warm water as needed
Instructions
How To Make Barley Chapati:
- Firstly in a large mixing bowl, add whole wheat and barley flour. Then add salt.
- Crumble the mixture well. Next by adding little warm water at a time, mix the mixture well.
- Then knead well to make a soft dough.
- Also add 1 tbsp of ghee and again knead it to make a smooth dough.
- Now rest the dough for 20 to 30 mins. Take a small portion from the dough and make it into small ball shape.
- Place the dough on a chapati maker and dust it with little flour.
- Next roll it into thin chapati and keep it aside.
- Meanwhile heat a tawa and place the rolled chapati.
- Flip over both sides and then smear ghee or oil both sides.
- Then roast well both sides until you get a small dark brown spots.
- Take out this chapati to a plate.
- Now the healthy, nutritious barley chapati is ready to enjoy.
- Serve with chutney, curry or curd.
