Firstly in a large mixing bowl, add whole wheat and barley flour. Then add salt.
Crumble the mixture well. Next by adding little warm water at a time, mix the mixture well.
Then knead well to make a soft dough.
Also add 1 tbsp of ghee and again knead it to make a smooth dough.
Now rest the dough for 20 to 30 mins. Take a small portion from the dough and make it into small ball shape.
Place the dough on a chapati maker and dust it with little flour.
Next roll it into thin chapati and keep it aside.
Meanwhile heat a tawa and place the rolled chapati.
Flip over both sides and then smear ghee or oil both sides.
Then roast well both sides until you get a small dark brown spots.
Take out this chapati to a plate.
Now the healthy, nutritious barley chapati is ready to enjoy.
Serve with chutney, curry or curd.
