Firstly heat a small tempering pan on medium low heat and add ghee (clarified butter).
Once the ghee is melted up, add hing (asafoetida).
Saute well for a minute and turn off the heat.
Now take a small blender and add the ingredients like black pepper, long pepper, dry ginger powder.
Next add cumin seeds, black cumin seeds and Ajwain.
Similarly add saindhava lavana and roasted hing-ghee mixture.
Blend this mixture to a powder form.

Store this digestive powder in an airtight glass jar and can be used for 6 months.
Mix 1/4 tsp of this mixture with ghee and take this as a first bolus of food twice a day.
