Are you searching for how to make paneer cutlet recipe in a healthy way? Here is a recipe on how to make cutlet without breadcrumbs? That is paneer cutlet with oats.

Paneer cutlet is a an instant, easy snack or easy paneer starter recipe. Basically in this paneer cutlet, crumbled or grated paneer is mixed with vegetables and some mild spices to form a dough like texture, and then coated with  crushed oats and pan fried until crisp. Most importantly, it is a gluten free paneer cutlet. Paneer is one of the best source of protein, Calcium for vegetarians. Like paneer one more other option is tofu, it is also a best source of protein & mainly it is vegan.

While making paneer or any cutlet recipe, usually breadcrumbs is used to roll them. Here I have not used breadcrumbs. Instead of that, crushed oats is used to make it more healthy. Further you can also use rice flour or corn flour to coat the cutlets. But it won’t make the cutlet that much crisp when compared with breadcrumbs or oats.

Even more you can add vegetables of your choice like capsicum, sweet corn, green peas, cabbage etc. I just added grated carrots with mashed potato & onion. Also to make it more healthy, bake these cutlets rather than deep or shallow frying. This is an ideal snack or starter for any occasions, parties or even good as an evening snack. It is so simple to make and tasted too good with crunchy oats. Here oats acts as an binding agent, as well as a taste enhancer.  And also the best way to switch from breadcrumbs. Moreover this delicious, crunchy snack is a kids friendly and loved by all age groups.
